
RETURNING
DOCUMENT FOR UAE NATIONALS ONLY

To
get a returning Document for new born, please submit the
following documents:
1- Birth Certificate
legalized by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in
Ottawa and then legalized by the UAE Embassy (money order of CAD$50.00)
2- Passport copy
of the father and mother
3- Copy of Marriage Certificate
4- Copy of Khoolaset al Kayd
5- 2 passport
size colored photographs
6- A letter
requesting a returning document stating clearly the date of departure from
Canada
7- Fee for
returning document is CAD$50.00 (money order payable to the Embassy of the
United Arab Emirates)
8- Prepaid
return envelope (any courier company)
***Please note that this document
is valid for ONE month from date of issue and it is not renewable.
For expired UAE passports:
NO returning
document is issued to UAE nationals with expired UAE passports. If UAE
nationals are going directly to the United Arab Emirates, no returning
document is required.
In
some cases, the Embassy can issue a letter (to whom it may concern) and not a
returning document just to facilitate their travel to their home country.
In case of theft or lost UAE passports:
The
applicant should submit the following in order to obtain a returning
document:
1- Police report
legalized by the Department of Foreign Affairs & International Trade in
Ottawa and then legalized by the UAE Embassy (money order of CAD$50.00)
2- 2 colored
passport size photographs
3- A copy of the
applicant’s passport if available
4- A letter
requesting a returning document
5- Fee for
returning document is CAD$50.00 (money order payable to the Embassy of the
United Arab Emirates)
6- Prepaid
return envelope (any courier company)
