1967	Fifth commercial oil discovery-Sahil field.
1973	Government of Abu Dhabi acquired 25% interest in the concession, assigned to the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, ADNOC.
1974	Government interest increased to 60%.
1978	Establishment of Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations, ADCO, under Law No. 14 for 1978.
1979	ADCO became the operating company for the concession.
1982	Drilling commenced on Hudariat and Dabbi'ya man-made islands.
1983	Commissioned Shah field.
1984	Khuff gas discovery at Hail.
1987	Full field development in Bu Hasa and Asab was completed.

1990	Twice broke world record in short-radius horizontal drilling.
1993	Commissioned three additional storage tanks at Jebel Dhanna with a capacity of one million barrel each.
1993	Commissioned early production scheme from Jarn Yaphour field.
